Low-Dose CT (LDCT)

Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screenings use a small amount of radiation to make detailed images of your lungs. LDCT can detect lung nodules that may be cancerous, before symptoms appear, leading to early treatment. It’s also the only screening test shown to lower the risk of dying from lung cancer.

LDCT screenings may detect significant coronary artery calcification, which may indicate a higher risk for heart disease. With early detection, however, this short and painless screening can prevent a substantial number of lung cancer-related deaths.
