Specific instructions regarding your particular scan will be given to you at the time of scheduling. Some exams require no preparation, while others require fasting and/or drinking of an oral contrast to coat the gastrointestinal tract. Intravenous contrast (I.V. dye) may be requested also to visualize organs and blood vessels. Blood test results may be needed if your physician orders intravenous contrast.

Upon entering our CAT suite you will lay on a comfortable table and be positioned in a large donut shaped opening, The technologist will then guide you with any instructions if necessary to ensure a high quality scan.
